President Brabham represented the Independent Sector today at The Path Forward Funder Briefing at Relay Graduate School of Education in Manhattan. Leaders from every sector of the educational system in NYS came together today to support bringing the Science of Reading into Educator Preparation Programs to transform literacy outcomes in New York State. Joined by NYS Board of Regents Chancellor Lester Young, SUNY Chancellor John King, and CUNY Chancellor Felix Matos Rodriguez, President Brabham spoke with the philanthropic community about the critical changes to policy and additional resources necessary to scale effective practices for a system wide impact on literacy instruction for students and teachers.
