The New York State Comptroller, Thomas P. DiNapoli, recently issued two reports regarding higher education.
The first, Higher Education in New York Evaluating Competitiveness and Identifying Challenges, examines whether New York is competitive in two key aspects of success: Human Capital Development and Research and Development. It also highlights the critical function played by the higher education sector, and the importance of its success to a thriving State economy.
The second report, Economic Impact: Higher Education, illustrates how vital higher education is to New York’s economy.
