CICU’s new partnership with Google brings industry-recognized Artificial Intelligence (AI) training, certificates, and enterprise-grade tools to students, faculty, and staff at CICU member institutions.
Through this collaboration, participating campuses gain exclusive access to Google’s AI Certificates and learning resources, designed to build practical, workforce-ready skills in one of the fastest-growing areas of the global economy. The partnership also provides access to advanced tools that support teaching, research, and institutional innovation.
This initiative is designed to ensure that institutions of all sizes—particularly smaller colleges and universities—can access high-quality resources and opportunities, helping to expand student success outcomes statewide.
The partnership will be rolled out in phases, beginning with targeted communications and informational webinars for member institutions.
By working together, CICU and Google aim to position New York as a national leader in AI-ready talent development, ensuring students graduate with the skills, credentials, and experience needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving workforce.
