5.7 billion.png

New York's private, not-for-profit colleges and universities are committed to keeping college affordable and accessible for all students. Each year they give $5.7 billion in aid to their students from their own resources.

College students receive more aid from colleges themselves than state, federal, or private sources. Overall, 90% of students at private colleges receive some form of student aid.
