  • For 50 years, New York State has helped “preserve the strength and vitality” of private and independent colleges and universities in the state with a program recommended by Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller’s Select Committee on the Future of Private and Independent Education, chaired by McGeorge Bundy.
  • “Bundy Aid” supports student financial aid and educational programming at more than 100 private, not-for-profit colleges and universities.
  •  “Bundy” funds totaling $35.1 million annually are used to provide financial aid to students and are distributed to qualifying institutions based upon the number of degrees awarded, placing an emphasis on completion.
