CICU President Issues Statement on FCC's Net Neutrality Decision

News Date: 12/15/2017

“Regrettably, yesterday's decision by the Federal Communications Commission to change course on net neutrality regulations will make college more expensive and less accessible for students," said Mary Beth Labate, CICU President. “Taken together, the collective effect of legislation and regulation coming from the federal government—from changes in tax policy to potential shifts in vital student aid programs, and now this decision about who can access online content, how, and at what price—are compromising the ability of colleges and universities to provide the world-class opportunity and education that our students need and deserve.”
