The cIcu Collaborative

The cIcu Collaborative initiative consolidates the purchasing power of the 100+ private, not-for-profit campuses in New York State to provide cIcu members the option of purchasing select products at a discount. To defray administrative costs, cIcu in some cases, may receive a modest amount under agreements made with the companies below.

cIcu offers optional group purchasing opportunities in a number of areas: technology hardware, software, student health insurance, telephone services, telecommunications auditing, rental car discounts and access to New York State contract pricing.

For further information and updates, visit this page regularly or contact Christopher Nolin (518-436-4781 or chris@cicu.org).

Campus Operating and Capital Analysis

Working with the PFM Group, cIcu members are offered a 15% discount on PFM Future Perfect, a Microsoft Excel based model offering campuses the ability to analyze the strategic ramifications of operating and capital initiatives using the Future Perfect program. The model establishes relationships between interdependent operating and financial variables including, student revenue, personnel, investments, debt, and facilities, among others. A graphical interface allows users to change variables and the base architecture allows users to add initiatives or projects, such as physical building projects, gift campaigns, academic programs, changes to benefits programs, or staffing changes.
